Conna Senior Citizens/Community Care

The A.G.M. of the above committee was held in February. Pat Hickey outgoing chairman gave a very detailed summary of all the activities of the past year. This is a very busy committee, and he thanked everybody for their help and support throughout the year. He paid tribute to Kathleen Joyce, outgoing Treasurer, for the care and the manner in which she took charge of the purse strings over the past number of years.

The social mornings continues the second Monday of each month in the Social Centre, from 10.30am to 12pm. All are Welcome!! These are very well attended, but if anyone would like transport please let a member of the committee know and it can be arranged.
A Social Evening held recently in the Community Centre was a great success with visitors from Tallow, Glanworth, Ballysaggart, Glenville, Mayfield and Knockraha.

Annual Holiday:
Plans are at the final stage for our Annual Holiday to Dundalk, from May 1st to May 5th 2006. A very interesting itinerary has been put together with visits to Newry, Belfast and Armagh. Names and money to Conna post office
